Best way to kill off something in a capitalist society is to refuse to support them financially, as you suggest, but that will only work if really large numbers act, and most people are hearing, reading, and watching the sources that tell them what they want to hear, so a revolt is not gonna happen, more a transition.

And besides, the entire history of the press (media) involves biased reporting, so your complaint is actually nothing at all new. Different interests use the media to attain their desired ends. You and I will never stop that. It is how we all work – we jabber at each other trying to convince each other of what we think. The media is just a form of that.

Perhaps the best way to counter it is to establish your own info dispensing system. Become a competitor, Spread the truth as YOU see it. Beat them at their own game.

The main stream media has long had a liberal bias. They slant stories to come out to back up what they think is true or what will sell newspapers, no matter who they hurt. And they hide behind “freedom of the press”.

I was offered a job once in a local paper as a restaurant critic. I told them I was interested but I would be blatently honest about what I found in the restaurants I wrote about. I was told that because those restaurants pay big advertising fees, I would not be allowed to say anything negetive about them. I asked “then what is the point of having a restaurant critic”? They said “only because they were getting requests for one”. I turned them down and they hired a lieing puppet to do it.

Good argument, probably right the US knows it can not retrain those people. They **** what democracy stands for that is why they **** the US abd the only true democracy in the Mid East which is Israel

1) CCleaner does an excellent job cleaning up temporary internet files, cookies, temp files, recycle bin, and prefetch folder.

2) Hitman Pro will let you automatically install, update, and run in Safe Mode many of the best free and free-to-try antispyware programs all with one click, including Spybot Search & Destroy, Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE, SpywareBlaster, Ewido, and free trials of Webroot Spysweeper and PCTools SpywareDoctor. The free version of Spybot Search & Destroy allows autoupdates, but Hitman Pro helps in keeping the others up to date with one click.

3) Winsockfix which is used to fix your internet connectivity if cleaning up malware breaks your internet connection.

4) Hijackthis which catalogs the places programs (both legitimate and malicious) are usually found, so that an expert can tell you if there’s anything nasty remaining.

First, run CCleaner to clean out temporary files. In the Advanced section only check off “Old Prefetch data”. Then click on Issues and scan for issues. Have it fix them all and make backups in case something gets erased that shouldn’t (although I’ve never had problems with CCleaner’s issue fixes). Then Scan for issues again until you get “No issues found”. Then click on Tools and uninstall programs you don’t want, and while in Tools click on Startup to remove things you don’t want starting automatically. If you’re unsure what you need to keep you can google for advice or email me with your questions.

Then update your antivirus program and then reboot into Safe Mode to run a full scan, then reboot after cleaning up what it found.

Then run Hitman Pro with the Safe Mode box checked. Reboot after cleaning up what it found.

Now run Hijackthis with the “Scan and Save Logfile” button, and email me the hijackthis.log, and I can advise you if there’s any malware still there.
